I'm excited to announce a new component of my website: After School Bakery Basics (ASB Basics). These are recipes that every home baker should know how to make from scratch. Ranging from buttercream to pie dough and basic cakes to whipped cream, these are things that are a large component of many recipes, but many bakers buy at the store. At the store, these basics are filled with chemicals and unnecessary additives. I'm very excited to launch this. Looking forward, ASB Basics can be used as a reference for any home baker. Additionally, I'll use them to make simpler posts, for example if I post a cupcake recipe, I can just attach the link to the basic buttercream recipe, mentioning how I made the particular flavor.
